Is anybody else seeing a ‘Cannot paste device “FF CommDTM (FDT 1.2)” here notice when trying to add the Foundation Fieldbus to the project tree? The DTM seems to properly startup the NI-FBUS communications manager before this occurs. Running Pactware 5.0 here.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

    Ryan,

thanks for downloading the FF CommDTM (FDT1.2) and thank you very much indeed for being part of our growing integration community. The latest version of the CommDTM (1.1.14.33) is currently not released for PACTware 5 since it is an FDT2 frame. We plan to test the CommDTM with this latest PACTware generation with the next release of the FF CommDTM (FDT1.2).

The only workaround for you would be to use the latest / or any PACTware 4.x release. No known issues with this frame version.

    Hope this answers your question.

    Hi Ryan,
we tried it again with both PactWare Releases and see the same behavior you reported. We are currently working on the fix. I therefore removed the FF CommDTM temporarily from our Tryout & Shop section. The release of the version with the fix implemented will be released and made available online next week.

    Alex
